Once you have built a connecting link with another user in MSN, it’s simple to obtain the IP address. Anyone can get in touch using the Windows support number to obtain the IP address of a user, but before that it would be great if you could go through these guidelines to get hold of some other users IP address.
Follow these leads…
Power up your Windows machine and go to the official website of MSN which will be bookmarked in your internet explorer, usually Internet Explorer is placed on a Windows desktop with an ‘e’ symbol. Access it by clicking on that particular icon.
If you are already a user in Windows Live, then enter your username and current Windows live password and follow it by clicking on the tab with the label “Sign in”. If you don’t have an MSN account then you could get one by clicking on the “Sign up” button.
Now get back to your Windows Desktop and hit on the “Start” button placed on the bottom left corner of your Windows desktop.
Now scroll through the tabs brought up by the startup menu to locate the “Run” tab which can be normally found in the left hand side of the startup menu.
Type in the words “Command” inside the entry box that appears when clicked on the run tab that appears after calling the “Start” button.
Now go back to your MSN messenger and send a message to the person whose IP address you are searching for.
Now come back and type in the words “Netstat” into the command box and follow it by clicking on the “Ok” button placed adjacent to the box.
You could now see the persons IP address that you were searching for just after the MSN port number.
