• Open the Windows Start menu and go to All Programs. Click on Microsoft Office from the list and then select Microsoft Outlook to open the program.

Click on the icon Page Color from the list of options that are given. Select a color that you wish for your email from the dialog window that opens.

If you do not wish to add any colors for the background, click on the option No Color, which will leave the background with the no fill.
• Click OK and save the changes. You will be able to view the colors that you selected for the background and the theme.
