Instructions For Removing Unwanted Toolbars From Internet Explorer

Internet Explorer is the default web browser embedded with every Windows operating system. One of the main characteristics of the Internet Explorer web browser is that it helps the users to protect their computer from unwanted software and toolbars from automatically installing on your computer. However, over time, sometimes, you may install some unwanted toolbars with the web browser making it run slow. Since the toolbars slow down the browsing speed and affect the overall browsing experience, it is better to uninstall them from your computer. Here we discuss instructions for uninstalling the toolbar from your computer that can even be followed by novice users.

Instructions
  • Double click on the Internet Explorer icon found in the desktop to launch the program and then click on the option named Tools found in the top of the application window for veining the options.
  • From the drop down menu that appears, select the Extensions option for viewing the toolbars and extensions installed in your system. Take a note of the unwanted toolbars installed in your web browser.
  • Open the Start menu by clicking on the Start menu button found at the left bottom corner of the screen and then click on the Control Panel tab found at the right hand side pane of the Start menu.
  • When the Control Panel window opens, look for the option named Add or Remove Programs and then click on it when found.
  • Now a new window appears on the screen displaying all the applications and programs installed on your system. Look for the toolbars in the Internet Explorer web browser that are not required.
  • Click on the toolbar you want to remove and then move the cursor to the top of the window and then click on the Remove button to remove toolbar.
  • Follow the prompts shown by the wizard for uninstalling the program from your computer to remove toolbar from your computer. Follow the same instructions for removing other unwanted toolbars from your computer.
